Green waste skip bins for garden clean-ups and outdoor projects

Special Waste Items and Additional Charges

Special Items and Charges

Gas bottles, mattresses, televisions and tyres can be accepted when they are declared before booking and added to the total. These items are not included in the standard skip bin price.

Declare Every Special Item

Tell us the type and exact quantity of special items before delivery. Each item is charged individually, so one charge does not cover several mattresses, tyres, televisions or gas bottles.

Gas Bottles

Gas bottles are accepted as declared special items at $30 each. They must not be placed in the bin as ordinary waste without prior disclosure and payment.

Mattresses

Mattresses are accepted at $75 each. Every mattress must be counted separately and included in the booking.

Televisions

Televisions are accepted as a specific paid exception at $25 each. Each television must be declared before it is placed in the bin.

Tyres

Tyres are accepted at $25 each. The charge applies to every individual tyre included in the load.

Televisions Are Not a General E-Waste Service

General e-waste is not accepted. Computer monitors are also prohibited. The television charge applies only to televisions and does not mean other electronic waste can be added for a fee.

Unusual Electrical Items

Some household appliances may be suitable for selected waste categories, but unusual electrical items should be confirmed before booking. Do not assume an electrical item is accepted because televisions have a separate charge.

Carpet Requires Confirmation

Carpet is not currently listed as a standard accepted item or paid extra. Contact the business before booking when carpet forms part of your clean-up.

Check Your Booking Total

Your total should show the bin price and the quantity-based charge for every declared special item. Update the booking before delivery if the number of special items changes.
