Skip bin hire begins with choosing the correct waste category and ends with safe collection. Providing accurate information during booking helps the delivery and pickup proceed as planned.
Start by listing the main items you need to dispose of. Consider whether the load contains household rubbish, building waste, garden material, clean soil or clean masonry.
Select General Waste, Mixed Heavy Waste, Green Garden Waste, Clean Soil and Dirt or Concrete, Bricks and Tiles. The complete load must follow the rules of the selected category.
Choose a bin size that is available for your waste category and suitable for the expected volume. Soil and masonry categories are currently available in 2m³, 3m³ and 4m³ bins.
The standard price includes GST, delivery, pickup and five days of hire. Additional hire after the first five days costs $10 per day.
Provide the requested delivery and collection dates when booking. Orders placed before 11:00 am can receive same-day delivery, while later orders depend on availability and may be delivered the following day.
Enter the correct quantity of gas bottles, mattresses, televisions and tyres. These items are charged individually and must be disclosed before they are placed in the bin.
Tell us whether the bin will be placed on private property, a driveway, a road, a nature strip or another location. Public-land placement may require a council permit.
Disclose narrow roads, low trees, low powerlines, steep driveways, tight gates, soft ground, parked vehicles and restricted turning space before delivery.
Keep the delivery area clear and load only accepted materials. Keep the waste below the rim, follow applicable weight limits and avoid adding undeclared special items.
Make sure the truck can reach the bin on the arranged collection date. Remove vehicles and other obstacles that could prevent safe access.
